I found much better bed bug proof pillow cases made by Allergy Luxe. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful Need a smooth version with zipper closure, Amazon Verified Purchase I was very disappointed with these pillow protectors.I got a mattress encasement from this same manufacturer which I like fine. The Mattress protector has a smooth surface and a way to tie the zipper closed so that it doesn't slip open (allowing bugs to go in or out.) The pillow protectors lack these features. The zipper creeps open at times and there's no way to secure it in place. Additionally the Terrycloth surface is a great place for bugs to get into and hide. They may or may not get into the pillow itself (IF the zipper stays closed) but they'll have a great time nesting on the surface. It's a dust trap and small bug heaven. I'd like a product that works like the mattress protector. Something that is intended to be left in place permanently, and that can be surface wiped if necessary. This pillow cover appears to be made with the intent that the user remove and launder it regularly. - I have pillow cases for that. I need a functional reliable...
