H) - King Size (Kitchen) I will be first to admit that I had no idea what a mattress encasement was needed for until my allergist suggested I get one for dust mites. This cover fits my king mattress just right. The quality is excellent and you can't even tell (hear) it is on there once you put the fitted sheet over. The zipper seems sturdy and I like the flaps on the ends to cover/hide the zipper once zipped up. Also, we spilled some liquid on accident it stained the sheet, fitted sheet, and the top of the mattress cover. But did NOT stain the mattress. The cover has a liner underneath that prevents any stains getting to the mattress. And yes the stain came out of the sheets and the top of the mattress cover easily. H) - King Size (Kitchen) Bought this for our new king-size tempurpedic cloud supreme mattress. We haven't had any spills or anything so can't comment on the "waterproofness" of the product. We have a regular cotton sheet on top of the mattress protector, and do not experience the crinkly, plastic-ky feel that others have written about. We have felt the increase in temperature however. The tempurpedics do tend to retain heat as it is, and this increased a bit with the mattress protector. Not sure if there is any product out there that is both water-proof and doesn't retain heat. Anyway, it is the summer right now, so we think this aspect will improve in the cooler months. We like the zipper - it really does seal quite tightly. One issue we did have is getting the mattress into the protector in the first place. With a heavy king-size mattress, this did require quite some effort- definitely easier with two people working on it.
